In Learning about Sikhism we have used a discussion format to talk about some of the events during Guru Gobind Singh’s life and his essential message to us.
This week’s Shabad translation is provided by Bahadur Singh and sung by Gopal Singh.
It is entitled: Khalsa Meri Jaan Ki Jaan
In the Resource review segment we look at the wonderful sites and podcasts provided by MrSikhnet.com
The Outside Broadcast segment features a recording of the presentation of a cheque of £25,000 to the charity, Children with Leukemia collected by Sikh Arts and Cultural Association based on sponsorships from riders who took part in the annual UK Birmingham to London cycle ride organised by SACA. The cheque was received by Christopher Biggins – the winner of ‘I’m a celebrity get me out of here!’
In the final part of the programme, Inspirational words and Songs we feature the Anthem of the Sikhs, Deh Shiva, sung by Dya Singh available from the CD entitled Along.
We’d love to hear your feedback, suggestions, requests and views.
Keep in touch.
